No sign of an AI voice

Riviera didn’t find any sustained AI-sounding speech. That isn’t a promise the voice is real.

Not enough speech to check

Too short or too quiet. Try a few seconds of someone talking.

A result is evidence, not proof. Riviera can miss a fake, and it can flag a real voice. Always play the part it points to and listen for yourself, and don’t make a safety or legal decision on a result alone. If you’re in doubt, ask someone you trust for help.

Hold your phone near the voice, like a call on speaker on another phone, or a video call, and tap Record. A big red AI or green No AI updates about once a second. After a few seconds of steady evidence, Riviera shows a calm verdict.

That’s with the Live switch on, which is how Riviera starts. Turn it off and Riviera only records: nothing leaves your phone until you tap Stop, and then it checks what it heard.

iPhone doesn’t let apps listen to calls on the same phone, so hold Riviera near a different device.

Riviera AI costs $5.99 a month after a one-week free trial, and includes 10 hours of checking and listening. Need more? An extra hour is $1.99, and bought hours never expire — you can use them any month you’re subscribed. Apple handles payment — Riviera never sees your card, name or email.

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Riviera AI, then Cancel Subscription. Or in Riviera, tap the (i) on Home, then Manage subscription.

Cancelling stops the next charge. The current month keeps working.

You’ll see “You’ve used this month’s 10 hours.” Add an hour for $1.99, or wait for next month, when your 10 hours renew.

To check it, Riviera sends the sound over an encrypted connection through Riviera’s own server to our checking partner, Modulate, whose terms let it keep the sound for up to 35 days. Riviera’s server doesn’t store the sound — it passes through memory only.

Riviera deletes its copy from your phone as soon as you close the result. Your original stays exactly where it was. Riviera keeps no history and has no accounts. Read the details in Privacy
